The General Accountant must be a strong, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can aid in the building and maintenance of trust, collaboration, and expertise-based linkages throughout State Street and with a varied set of colleagues. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required.

Qualifications:
- Experience as a general manager and superior problem-solving abilities
- A demonstrated track record of promotion, managerial, and business success is necessary, as well as a minimum of 3–5 years of total experience, preferably at a large financial services organization, including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting.
- Excellent technical knowledge of financial services industry accounting and reporting, as well as subject matter expertise in accounting and finance.
- After matching all incoming files for processing, prepare voucher paperwork and route approvals to the appropriate departments.
- Examine the payment plan and set payment deadlines.
- Prepare the necessary paperwork, including all relevant information, to ask the department for payment authorization.
- For example, experience in accounting or office administration.
- You can enter data as well as search for it using accounting software. Payments, budget balances, purchase order information and balances, and vendor information are among the items included in the package.
- All incoming vendor bills are cross-referenced against purchase orders to check that the prices, terms, descriptions, and quantities, as well as any discounts and freight costs, are correct.
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree to be considered.
Skills:
