Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and guidance to the team in charge of processing accounts payable and vendor services, including keeping track of amounts owed, verifying invoices, calculating discounts, categorizing expenses, creating vouchers, and issuing checks, ACH transactions, and international wire transfers for payment. The Accounts Payable Manager generates new accounting forms as required and provides financial reports for different internal departments. Accounts payable registers and other relevant reports are prepared by this individual. Accounts payable and buying operations are overseen by this position, which provides advice, coordination, and training to employees.

Qualifications:
- Examine the present processes and systems in place before proposing changes that would increase efficiency, as well as the appropriate and adequate division of roles and internal controls.
- Management of the month-end accounts payable closing processes will ensure that all operations are completed on time and in accordance with the corporate time restrictions.
- Assigning responsibilities, evaluating job quality, and deciding how to proceed are all critical phases in dealing with procedural and technological issues. Metrics should allow managers to see the results of their workers’ efforts.
- Ensure that the company’s rules are adhered to prior to processing any financial information (e.g., purchase orders, suppliers, invoices).
- This individual understands lease terms (deposits, abatements, TI allowances, rent schedules, share of property taxes, CAM).
- Proper implementation, documentation, implementation, and verification of internal controls for the Accounts Payable and Procurement processes are all essential parts of this process.

Skills:
- In order to successfully carry out all of the responsibilities associated with the position, you will need to possess either an undergraduate degree and two years of management or supervisory experience in accounts payable, or a combination of education and experience that is considered to be equivalent by the employer.
