By utilizing specific consumer data, this role is accountable for enhancing brand performance, building brand equity, and boosting market share. The Marketing Associate supports the Manager in developing the brand’s consumer communications and innovation strategies and works with the team to seek out information that will enable it to develop a complete grasp of the brand’s target market and create memorable brand experiences. The marketing associate is in charge of organizing and carrying out projects that support the marketing manager’s strategies for the brand’s communications and innovation. This job closely collaborates with agency partners on communications strategy, planning, and execution. In order to increase demand for a brand’s goods and services, this job collaborates with sales, shopper marketing, operations, product development, and finance.

  • Take advantage of consumer and market trends to learn more about the brand’s target audience or a specific subset of the brand’s target audience, including their demographics, psychographics, and the factors that influence their purchasing decisions.
  • Direct the management, strategy, planning, execution, and assessment of communication plan efforts that target specific touchpoints or consumer goals.
  • Help figure out how to best communicate with customers and organize your campaign so that you may contact them when and where it matters most to them.
  • Manage brand initiatives and assignments in a way that exhibits knowledge of critical consumer insights and the ability to apply them in relevant communications and innovation efforts.
  • Locate and head up initiatives that improve upon the brand’s existing nutrition, health, and wellbeing claims.
  • Help the brand figure out who they are and what they stand for so they can communicate and innovate effectively with their target audience.
  • Oversee digital and social media-first consumer marketing activities that give the brand new life and improve interaction with existing customers.
  • Makes use of brand, customer, and market data and trends to inform the manager’s annual plan for coordinating marketing and sales operations to maximize brand demand.
  • Utilize digital intelligence tools to explore the consumer/brand demand landscape.
  • Prove that you can keep projects on track and under budget, and that you can evaluate investment opportunities with an eye on minimizing losses while maximizing gains. The goal is to find ways to promote the brand’s nutrition health and wellness proposition in communications and to take the lead on any related activities.


  • It is preferable to have experience designing strategic brand/product plans, such as communication campaigns and commercialization strategies.
  • It is preferred if you have experience working with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • A master’s degree in business, marketing, or an MBA, OR at least three years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management is necessary.
  • In order to succeed in this role, you should ideally have managed marketing communication initiatives that incorporated media and digital tactics before.
  • It is desirable if you have experience using data and trends to provide insights into customer behavior.
