The Asset Manager’s responsibility is to oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of Company’s technology-related data center and public cloud assets. The Asset Manager role is responsible for the life-cycle management of information technology assets throughout the enterprise. This duty includes the establishment and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures, systems, and measures that allow the organization to lead the Asset Portfolio in terms of risk, cost, control, governance, compliance, and business performance goals as defined by the company. The Asset Manager will collaborate with all departments engaged in the acquisition, implementation, administration, and reporting of IT assets, as well as the usage of integrated software solutions.

Qualifications:

- Ensure that asset data, such as serial numbers or identification tags, are accurate, full, and auditable in a configuration management database (CMDB).
- To guarantee that the asset’s everyday operations, positioning in the market, and ultimate disposal are all led by the plan, strategic business strategies should be identified, produced, and executed.
- Work with the organization’s IT department to develop protocols for monitoring and evaluating corporate hardware from purchase through retirement.
- Produce cash flow estimates, assess them, and make recommendations to investors about capital calls and distributions Keep track of the funds in your escrow and operational cash accounts to make sure they are appropriately funded.
- Investigate alternatives for increasing the usability of underused or partly utilized technological assets in order to maximize their efficiency and return on investment.
- Keep a close eye on customer service for the company’s present tenants. Leasing agents, solicitors, and bankers with a strong network can assist in lease negotiations with high-profile tenants.
- Assembling and disseminating information to county workers and the general public. The county’s representative on numerous boards, committees, and organizations dealing with infrastructure asset management may be allocated to this position.
- A specific focus is made on pre-payments, balloon payments, and maturing loans, which are examined for affordability preservation and possible Business Development refinancing possibilities.
- Any asset’s life cycle should be simulated in all possible scenarios, including investor returns, from acquisition through disposal. Budgeting, strategic planning, and reforecasting are the responsibility of this position.
Skills:
- Applicants for this position must have five (5) years of experience managing infrastructure assets in a government agency, and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides you with the knowledge and abilities that are required for the position.
- The ability to handle a wide range of computer tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, is essential. The Internet and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential tools for this job.
- Successfully collaborate with coworkers, vendors, and cross-functional groups in a team-oriented setting.
- People who have worked in a contract management or purchasing and procurement job have had direct experience with all of the parts of strategy development and implementation.
- The ability of an employee to grasp and communicate information in English is critical to the safety and efficiency of their job.
