Part-Time Associate Creative Director, Copy – Al-Jīzah
Job Description
You’ll be in charge of developing and implementing innovative strategies and the associated creative benchmarks to build and protect our brand equity across all of our product lines, both new and old. This role contributes to and drives the department’s overarching efforts and strategic vision by managing and mentoring a team of design professionals (graphic designers, industrial designers, photographers, illustrators, etc.), working on cross-functional teams with specialists from other departments (strategists, marketers, copywriters, etc.), and coordinating with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners. With self-assurance and grace, the Creative Director will present top-level management with important projects. The creative director’s ability to defend their work and articulate the design logic while remaining open to feedback and new ideas is crucial. Your ability to clearly communicate your ideas verbally and visually is crucial to your success in this field. Candidates for this role need to demonstrate that they thrive in fast-paced, fluid settings like brainstorming sessions and team workshops.

Qualifications:
- Promptly provides clients with well-crafted presentations that are not just informative but also interesting, visually appealing, and persuasive.
- Collaboration with other stakeholders, both inside and outside the company, to reflect the brand’s key equities and governance; acting as a steadfast equity champion to ensure brand consistency.
- Participates in brand briefings; gracefully incorporates and questions alternate suggestions depending on brand creative strategy.
- Conducts internal reviews of creative projects with team; guides, coaches and mentors subordinate staff.
- keeps the stock’s visual identity consistent across translations and allows for further branding. The appropriate brand assets (identity guidelines, etc.) are stored, preserved, and disseminated.
- ensures a high level of originality is maintained alongside meticulous attention to detail.
- Examines the artistic industry; follows developments and new trends.
- delivers creative projects with a sound, well-articulated creative approach, supporting the entire efforts of the internal creative department.
- Maintains timely and informative channels of communication between the creative process and external stakeholders.
- Partners with the Account Management lead and department leadership to define budgets, schedules, and deliverables, as well as to verify budget constraints are met.
Skills:
- proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and the Apple Macintosh operating system.
- highly developed skills in juggling several priorities, adapting to new situations, and remaining calm under pressure.
- Skilled at formulating design policies and procedures, as well as improving designs at every stage of their creation, development, and implementation.
- Knowledge of design, production, and cost considerations typical to the packaging industry.
- Qualifications include a Master’s degree in design, advertising, or communications and six years of relevant work experience, including package design work, in which the candidate took on increasing levels of responsibility.
