We’re looking for a Design Director with practical expertise and multi-hyphenate abilities to join our team. For our marketing communications, we are looking for an expert in art direction and design who is capable of creating visually stunning assets and content that can be used for everything from lifestyle and product photography to motion graphics design to packaging and product illustrations, among other things. Customer-centric visual solutions are something you take great pleasure in delivering to clients. You’re an expert at solving problems. If you want to offer exceptional marketing campaigns and product experiences, you are comfortable collaborating with individuals from many disciplines around the company. However, most significantly, you are a visionary leader who can inspire the creative team to think creatively and establish a clear vision for our visual identity approach.

Qualifications:

  • Have a clear design point of view and a clear vision for the future, with the courage to pursue forward-thinking design solutions and champion bold and boundary-pushing ideas that you think are good.
  • Work that is fascinating, exciting, and motivating for our Design team and that sets an example for other designers to follow should be developed.
  • The creative idea must be executed correctly, working with the strategy and creative teams, as well as product designers and motion designers, production teams, and suppliers.
  • Show an enthusiasm for creative experimentation and a fearlessness in the face of uncertainty. While working on various projects, brainstorm marketing concepts with Creative Directors.
  • Responsible for maintaining a thorough grasp of the company’s strategy and brand objectives, as well as for keeping the brand moving ahead while collaborating with partners across the Creative, Marketing, Product, Editorial, and Affiliate departments.
  • Strive to improve our brand guidelines (typography, materials, and color schemes) at every touch point.
  • In this position, you’ll work with customers and colleagues to assist them understand how to address business issues while simultaneously fulfilling the needs of the brand. Direct contact with all the creative directors and strategists on our team is a benefit of working with us.
  • Ensure that the initiatives you lead go beyond their intended objectives and uncover new possibilities inside the client’s organization.
  • Oversee and develop a collection of best-in-class, customer-centric visual assets for a variety of advertising, marketing, and product activities.
  • To make sure the product is as good as it can be before any samples are manufactured, the designer oversees the whole process personally and actively.

Skills:

  • Confident in any job, with any customer, anywhere in the world, able to change and adapt (from startups to corporations to schools and beyond). Able to use the tools to help the team when they need it.
  • Having a good grasp of how creativity can help businesses meet their goals while still adhering to and encouraging their brand’s aesthetic and communication standards is important.
  • A background in digital, social, or new media campaigns focused on design is necessary.
  • Color, font, and other design elements that are attractive to the eye without overwhelming the target audience are called “balance.”
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating an excellent inter-disciplinary approach to design and visual solutions throughout the disciplines of digital, experiential, retail and product/service design as well as storytelling.
