Job Description
We are seeking for a Legal Assistant. Reviewing briefs and similar legal papers, evaluating significant problems, doing research on laws, precedents, and other circumstances bearing on such matters, and preparing opinions, orders, adjudications, and similar documents are all examples of legal research labor. The job is done directly for and under the supervision of a Judge assigned to the Court of Common Pleas.

Qualifications:
- Make a deliberate effort to find and capitalize on commercial opportunities that are relevant to the legal sector, and then develop and execute website features and functionality that are acceptable for the industry.
- By meeting with judges and talking about cases, you can make sure that all the information is given and understood. It also says that this person is in charge of writing decisions and sentencing in both civil and criminal cases, as well as giving his or her opinion or making a decision about what to do.
- This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and indexing a variety of evidentiary exhibits in order to prepare presentations for court proceedings.
- As well as those stated, do additional duties that need the same skills, knowledge, and physical attributes.
- Determine what evidence or information is needed and plan a strategy for obtaining it in the first step of the probable cause investigation.
- Prepare to travel with the principal to help with client engagements and other similar events.
- Summarizes and prioritizes material offered in pretrial briefs to ensure that all relevant information is included; highlights important problems and other notable features; and ensures that all essential information is included in these and other submissions. En banc panel (or argument court) case summaries are prepared for all of the judges participating, and include the most probable conclusion based on the available evidence, as well as summaries for each of the judges assigned to a particular case.
- Produce legal papers that are based on an in-depth study of the legal arguments and authority supplied by the parties, as well as legal research to verify or refute the legitimacy or correctness of those arguments and authority.
- An independent legal opinion writer for judges conducts independent research and uses the results to develop a proposed opinion for the judge to use in explaining the court’s decision and reasoning to the litigants, based on the findings of the study.
- Letter-writing duties include assisting with document preparation and the incorporation of corporate legal documents.
Skills:
- Capability to produce opinions, memorandums, and other legal papers addressing pertinent topics, pertinent law and precedent, and judicial perspectives.
- understanding and application of state law as it pertains to the civil and criminal jurisdiction of the Court of Common Pleas
- Communication skills like politeness, efficiency, and accountability are very important when you work with people from the public or other departments.
