Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director of the Small Business Development Center, the Business Advisor provides a comprehensive range of small business-based assistance, including one-on-one client counseling in business planning, analyzing, preparing, and structuring financial statements, such as cash flow projections, income statements, and sources and uses statements for reporting, and assisting clients with automated and manual record keeping systems.

Qualifications:
- In collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk Management, and Business Experience Owners, accountable for monitoring risks within the internal control environment and advising on and suggesting risk mitigation activities.
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with people from a range of backgrounds, both inside and outside of the company. This includes working with employees, local organizations, and nonprofit organizations.
- Requirements are delivered to developers in a timely manner so that they may provide additional program value and data for planned campaigns by IT architects and the Release Train Engineer.
- A wide range of experience is required to deliver excellent one-on-one counsel to a varied and complex customer. The amount of time it takes to service a customer depends on their level of expertise and the complexity of their company. A lack of organizational skills will make it difficult to keep up with the fast-paced nature of business decision making.
- Assist the customer in communicating and resolving concerns concerning any relevant credit administration problems that arise throughout the loan approval process, such as decision, structure, pricing, and facility renewals.
- Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions are when this person collaborates with IT teams to examine their requirements. Both business and IT support interact closely to guarantee that requirements are carried out and that requirements change control is maintained.
- To minimize or understand client relationship risks, do research. If a customer’s request is approved, changed, or denied.
- Everything from financial forecasts to operational planning to managerial analysis is supported by the center. Commercial resource offers may also be promoted by the marketing strategy that is devised and implemented by the marketing department.
- Helps translate high-level corporate strategy and scope into specific functional requirements for campaign data and system functionality.
- Sessions may be long-term classroom settings, single-day or multi-day conferences with open forums, or other public settings.
