  • Perform clerical/administrative assignments in accordance with established procedures and under general instruction.
  • Use office machinery including photocopiers, printers, and computers to create documents, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Report any shortages of office supplies (paper clips, stationery, etc.) that you notice.
  • Timely and accurate responses to customer contacts and investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Documents should be printed, scanned, and updated in accordance with standard office procedures. Create and file documentation related to the facility’s operation.
  • Perform a range of accounting tasks such as data entry, payroll, invoicing, credits, inventory, billing, and production reporting throughout the fiscal year.
  • Maintain files and records so that they are always up to date and conveniently accessible.
  • Maintaining office records, personnel files, and responding to frequent inquiries regarding corporate policies will help with administration and office support tasks.
  • Assist with normal office administration tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, and cleaning up the office as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the Support Department.
  • Collaboration refers to the process of working together with other people toward the goals of a team or work group.


  • expert typist, scribe, and stenographer who can work quickly under pressure.
  • understanding of standard office procedures and accounting principles.
  • skill in acquiring knowledge of the carpet padding and trucking industries.
  • experience working in a clerical capacity, such as an office clerk, is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are an asset in many settings, including those with customers, truck drivers, office workers, and management.
