The Law Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a law firm or a team of attorneys, including the preparation and revision of legal documents, the coordination of legal projects, and frequent communication with clients and regulatory organizations.

Qualifications:
- Prepare briefs based on a careful evaluation of the legal arguments and authority supplied by the parties, as well as legal research to verify or deny their legitimacy or correctness.
- Do additional professions that need the same skills, knowledge, and physical attributes as those mentioned in addition to those listed here.
- Assists in the drafting of correspondence, the compilation of documents, and the incorporation of legal documents for corporations.
- meet with judges and discuss cases in an effort to ensure that all of the relevant information is conveyed and understood. An additional function of this person is the drafting of judgments, including opinions and orders, in civil and criminal proceedings, as well as sentence.
- Checks investigative reports from other government agencies and tribes for probable cause. Decides what more information and evidence is needed, and plans a wide range of ways to get it.
- Be willing to travel as the principle requires, including helping with client engagements, presentations, and similar events.
- conduct research based on the study’s results, formulate a proposed opinion for the judge to consider when explaining the court’s decision and the reasons behind it.
- Researches precedential and related cases, laws, and opinions; summarizes findings, including likely outcome based on information available; submits findings to assigned judge; prepares multiple summaries for all judges involved in en banc panel (or argument court) cases.
- Compiles, organizes, and indexes evidence to be used in court proceedings in preparation.

Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in law or a master’s degree in law from an accredited legal institution is required at the time of enrolment or graduation.
- the ability to cooperate with colleagues, submit to authority, and treat others with civility in public
- Capability to produce opinions, memorandums, and other legal papers addressing pertinent topics, pertinent law and precedent, and judicial perspectives.
- Knowledge of the legislation, rules, structure, and operations of the civil and criminal systems as they apply to the Court of Common Pleas.
