Full-Time Creative Director, Copywriter – Qalyūb
Job Description
In your role as Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing original strategies and creative parameters for our company’s new and existing product lines. Position holders in this field manage and coach a team of creatives (graphic designers, industrial designers, photographers, illustrators, etc.), work closely with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners, and contribute to multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams (consisting of strategists, marketers, copywriters, etc.). Creative Director will deliver high-priority projects to upper management with confidence and grace. While remaining receptive to feedback and alternative viewpoints, the Creative Director must be able to express design reasoning and argue for their work. Clear verbal and visual communication of your vision is essential to your success in this field. The ideal candidate for this role would thrive in fast-paced settings, such as brainstorming sessions and seminars where multiple minds come together to generate new ideas.

Qualifications:
- Performs internal reviews of creative ideas with the team; manages, coaches, and mentors’ subordinates.
- ensures a high level of originality is maintained alongside meticulous attention to detail.
- Examines the creative market; keeps up of trends and innovations.
- keeps the stock’s visual identity consistent across translations and allows for further branding. The appropriate brand assets (identity guidelines, etc.) are stored, preserved, and disseminated.
- ensures that the internal creative department’s overall efforts are supported by providing creative projects that are original and have a clear, well-articulated creative strategy.
- Partners with internal and external partners to represent core brand equities and governance; serves as a continuing equity champion to maintain brand continuity inside and outside the organization.
- Takes an active role in brand briefings; effectively accepts and challenges alternate recommendations based on brand creative strategy.
- Provides compelling, well-organized, and directly-targeted presentations to clients that are backed by a sound argument and strategy and are presented in a way that is easy to understand and persuasive.
- Collaborates with the Account Management lead and other department heads to set budgets, timelines, and deliverables, and then monitors performance to make sure everything stays within its assigned budget.
- Maintains timely and informative channels of communication between the creative process and external stakeholders.
Skills:
- Experience in package design that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and a master’s degree in graphic design, advertising, or communications are required.
- Design strategy development and definition expert; skilled in perfecting designs from conception to development and implementation.
- competent at using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at an intermediate level, as well as the Apple Macintosh platform.
- mastery of the packaging design process, including the norms, processes, and economics involved.
- expert at being calm under stress, successfully adjusting to change, and multitasking.
