This role drives brand performance, brand equity, and market share through unique consumer insights. The Marketing Associate helps the Manager build consumer communications and innovation strategies for the brand and helps the team gain a full grasp of the company’s target audience and design memorable brand experiences. The Marketing Associate leads and implements projects that add to the brand’s communications and innovation plans. This job collaborates with agency partners on communications strategy, planning, and execution. This role collaborates with sales, shopper marketing, operations, product development, and finance to drive brand demand.

Qualifications:
- Manage brand initiatives and tasks in a way that exhibits an awareness of the most important consumer insights and the capacity to apply them to pertinent communications and innovation initiatives.
- To propel relevant communications and innovation, brands need their target audiences to be familiar with and understand the brand’s identity, essence, vision, mission, and fundamental values.
- Oversee consumer communication projects to foster a creative atmosphere that breathes new life into the brand and paves the way for effective consumer communication with a focus on digital and social media.
- Makes use of information about the company’s products and its customers to advise the Manager on how to best allocate annual resources between marketing and sales.
- Manage agencies and cross-functional teams, develop and implement a strategy, plan, and execute on an actionable plan, and track progress toward goals while communicating with targeted audiences.
- Make decisions about investment options that minimize risk and increase return while demonstrating the ability to manage projects on time and within budget. Find opportunities and take the helm of projects that communicate the brand’s promise of nutrition, health, and wellness.
- Assist in determining the best interaction approach and campaign structure to reach consumers at the right time and place.
- Take charge of initiatives that advance the brand’s stance on food, health, and happiness, and look for ways to improve the business.
- Take advantage of consumer and market trends to learn more about the brand’s target audience or a specific subset of the brand’s target audience, including their demographics, psychographics, and the factors that influence their purchasing decisions.
- Use tools of digital intelligence to examine the competitive landscape of brand demand from consumers.
Skills:
- Requirements include a four-year degree and at least three years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management. An alternative requirement is a master’s degree in business, marketing, or a closely related field.
- Possessing a background in media and digital marketing strategy implementation would be a plus in the role of project manager.
- Those applying for this role should ideally have some background in analyzing consumer behavior via the lens of statistics and trends.
- Experience developing strategic brand/product plans, such as communication campaigns, commercialization strategies is preferred.
- Experience working in collaborative cross-departmental teams and agency partnerships is a plus.
