Qualifications:
- Anticipate bottlenecks, limit escalation, anticipate and make trade-offs, and strike a balance between business needs and technology and procedural constraints.
- Management should be given financial reports and financial facts, as well as recommendations for future actions.
- Ability to develop accounting and financial processes and structures, as well as instill in the organization a Continuous Improvement culture.
- Maintain open lines of contact with auditors to guarantee proper financial oversight.
- Assist in the preparation of withholding tax, value-added tax, income tax, and other tax returns, as well as the paperwork and schedules that go along with them, in compliance with government agencies.
- Ensure that any technical concerns are handled, remedied, and correctly recorded in a timely way in line with GAAP and SEC laws and regulations by providing technical accounting advice to the operational divisions. Members of the global financial team should be trained, mentored, and developed in their knowledge and application of these issues.
- Costs, price, variable contributions, sales outcomes, and actual performance vs. corporate goals are all things to consider.
- Make recommendations for the company’s investment activities and strategies.
- The income for this position is based on the level of experience.
- Communicate with various departments, discussing corporate strategies and agreeing on future directions.
Skills:
- Capacity to lead and grow finance teams’ talent and competencies.
- Excel, Hyperion, and SAP are all desirable. Strong computer skills and application expertise are required.
- The applicant should have a strong sense of leadership and a desire to learn and enhance his skills on a constant basis.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or business administration, as well as a mathematically oriented bachelor’s degree, is necessary (MBA preferred).
- Understanding of web-based collaboration tools.
