Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. We are a well-established paint and drywall firm in the greater County region, working on both residential and commercial projects. Successful candidates will have at least two years of drywall experience. This isn’t simply a summer job; we keep our personnel levels year-round!

Qualifications:
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to established safety norms and regulations. Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be carried at all times (PPE).
- Help your Team Leader and Area Coordinator plan and organize your area’s production operations by conveying projected material shortages, tool maintenance needs, and quality or productivity issues.
- Collaborate with others to produce items that meet our quality requirements while meeting our productivity goals.
- Be on time for the start of the shift and stick to the division’s rules and regulations on attendance.
- To provide high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance while ensuring service continuity and coordination, communicates and works with the supervisor, the client, and other trades and subcontractors.
- Before final finishing, use trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper to apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, add metal molding to the corners of the room.
- Maintaining contact with your supervisor and reporting any job-related issues, as well as making sure that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Spread sealing compound between boards or panels, as well as over cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads, with trowels, broad knives, or spatulas.
- Serving as a responsible steward of our company’s physical assets, preventing damage and misuse, reporting any necessary repairs, and keeping your assigned workspace clean and organized are all examples of stewardship.
- Performs a wide range of finishing procedures, such as painting (roller, brush, and spray applications), vinyl wallpaper repair, staining, and application of other finishes, to enhance and protect interior surfaces. Prepares and polishes walls and surface areas using hand and power tools, repairs damaged wood and metal doors, and completes Finisher-related jobs.
Skills:
- Carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and general math studies in high school are recommended.
- The applicant must possess a strong sense of leadership as well as a strong desire to learn and enhance his skills.
- Knowledge in the construction and/or manufacturing industries is desired.
- It is necessary to possess communication abilities.
- Possessing the ability to carry out physically challenging tasks.
