Full-Time Drywall Finisher – Lachung
Job Description
Under the supervision of a supervisor, the Drywall Finisher cleans and maintains a safe and aesthetically acceptable working environment. Preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various building systems are performed independently. Participates in the entire building management program in order to deliver high-quality, cost-effective service with a focus on customer happiness.

Qualifications:
- Spread sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads with trowels, broad knives, or spatulas.
- Help your Team Leader and Region Coordinator plan and organize the production operations in your area by discussing expected shortages of materials, identifying essential tool maintenance, and addressing any quality or productivity issues.
- Maintaining communication with your supervisor and reporting any job-related difficulties, as well as ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with others to develop items that meet our quality requirements while also meeting our productivity goals.
- Maintaining our company’s physical assets in excellent condition, protecting them from damage and overuse, reporting any required repairs, and keeping your assigned workspace clean and organized are all indicators of good stewardship.
- Adherence to established safety standards and laws is essential to preserving a healthy and clean working environment. Always have PPE (personal protective equipment) on hand (PPE).
- Work with other tradespeople and subcontractors to execute high-quality maintenance in a timely and economical manner while communicating and working with supervisors and customers.
- Before final finishing, apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings with trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper. Use metal molding at wall corners to attach wallboard and metal structural components.
- To embellish and preserve interior surfaces, performs a wide range of finishing operations, including painting (roller, brush, and spray applications), vinyl wallpaper restoration, staining, and application of other finishes. Using hand and power tools, prepares and finishes walls and surface areas, fixes damaged wood and metal doors, and completes Finisher-related tasks.
- Attendance: You must meet all attendance requirements, report to work on time for the start of your shift, and follow all divisional attendance rules and regulations.
Skills:
- Bending, standing, and walking while lifting up to 40 pounds, using a grip, working above the head, and pushing at the chest are all part of the job.
- Experience in building and/or manufacturing is preferred.
- For a candidate to be successful, he or she must have a strong sense of self-confidence and leadership, as well as a commitment to continued education and development of one’s abilities.
- Interested high school students in these disciplines are urged to take carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic math classes as part of their curriculum.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
