Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing child care providers to ensure that they adhere to all applicable laws, rules, and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible for performing monitoring visits and recommending to Team Leads the acceptance or denial of registration applications or renewals of child care facilities and centers within the assigned counties and caseload.

Qualifications:
- Conducts training, responds to enquiries, and provides child care-related information to facility operators.
- Ensure that you have the required flexibility to satisfy the need for health and safety monitoring visits on weekends and at night, if necessary.
- Recommends to the State whether new applications for child care providers should be approved or denied, as well as if present registration should be revoked.
- Based on their age, group size, makeup, and other characteristics, co-plans appropriate learning activities for groups of children.
- In partnership with the division and information technology, keeps track of child care registration data.
- Inspects and evaluates existing and future child care providers to ensure compliance with state and federal standards and regulations.
- Self-confidence, trust and respect for others are fostered in a growth-promoting atmosphere.
- In a certain geographic location, there is limited coordination between owners, administrators, boards, and child care providers to maintain compliance with child care rules.
- Social service workers and investigators work together to investigate and record allegations of abuse, neglect, or misbehavior.
- The child care provider is informed and educated about issues that need corrective action, a plan for suitable corrective action is developed, and a schedule for corrective action is established.
Skills:
- General business periodicals, technical processes, and regulatory requirements all demand the ability to read, evaluate, and grasp them.
- It is critical to have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Effective communication with groups of managers, customers, board members, and members of the general public, as well as the ability to reply to inquiries, are essential.
- A familiarity with the Child Care Resource and Referral Service or child care programs, as well as previous experience dealing with low-income families, are preferred qualifications for this position.
- An MBA or 36 credit hours of post-baccalaureate academic study is needed. Four years of education administration or teaching experience, or association with one.
