Job Description

As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with current and potential customers. You’ll serve as a liaison between customers and other departments within the company to provide a positive and productive customer experience. In order to succeed in the Account Executive position, you must be a self-starter with excellent sales and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Working with field managers, price quotes and bids to meet the company’s financial objectives. Monitor your competition’s market share, pricing, and other products.
  • In order to successfully overcome customer objections and boost sales activity within allotted region, use consultative sales methods. Developing new company requires effective public relations and community networking, both of which should be prioritized.
  • Strong customer and partner planning: Develop and maintain high-quality, actionable Customer Plans (where appropriate) and Joint Business Plans (where applicable). Make it clear that you have a thorough awareness of the issues and worries of your customers. To take advantage of these chances, devise a comprehensive strategy. agreed-upon strategy with clients. With management, do a quarterly check-up. Oversee the implementation of the whole Account Plan that has been agreed upon. All participants are held to their end of the bargain.
  • The ever-changing nature of business technology necessitates an on-going effort to remain abreast of new developments in the field. Indirect sales channels should be identified, trained, and developed.
  • With the help of the outside sales force, new business can be brought in by prospecting, cold calling, referring customers to other businesses, and building relationships with existing customers. Works with both big and small businesses to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Relationship development and expansion include expanding our current customer connections into new business units, IT groups, and divisions, as well as discovering and approaching possible new clients.
  • Manage the connections that have been allotted to customers in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, a high probability that the customer’s contract will be renewed, and an extension of the client’s relationship with that customer via the sale of other services.
  • Direct the operations of the internal Account Management team and extended team members as they pertain to the strategic goals and escalated service concerns of the client.
  • Assist the client’s sales, operations, and executive teams in achieving customer satisfaction.

Skills:

  • In the last five years, I’ve sold significant technical accounts, including managed services, data center services, cloud-based software as a service solutions, consulting, and hardware/software solutions.
  • To come up with a solution and a plan and put them into action, you need to be driven and able to gather client resources.
  • Candidates must have good writing and spoken abilities. Many sales operations are confined to these types of communication, therefore expertise is required. Must be able to easily and convincingly convey to C-level decision makers.
  • A bachelor’s degree is recommended, but candidates with similar work-related experience and a high school diploma or its equivalent in the form of a general equivalency diploma (GED) will also be considered.
