To support organizational performance and efficiency, the office manager is in charge of organizing and coordinating office operations, processes, and resources.   • Possible assistance with HR-related chores includes hiring, orientation, performance reviews, and performance assessments, as well as processing paperwork and keeping track of personnel information.
  • Meetings, retreats, trainings, and activities for the department or program are planned, organized, and attended as necessary.
  • To ensure that goals are achieved, hold meetings to discuss the workload and expectations.
  • Manages the department’s administrative operations, including billing, accounting, payroll, and any other related functions. Makes systems and reports to help and support administrative tasks as needed.
  • Helps in the creation and upkeep of contracts and bids.
  • One provides both internal and external parties by answering phones, writing standard letters, memoranda, and reports from drafts, and resolving customer service issues.
  • Provides assistance with mundane office duties such as scheduling, trip planning, and message drafting for managers, directors, executives, and officers.
  • organizes the usage of office space and manages building systems and leasing details.
  • Coordination of operational affairs, including building maintenance/repair, office equipment, and purchasing. Maintains and cultivates vendor relationships, including obtaining price bids.

  • Qualities: can prioritize work, has a good sense of humor, and is reliable.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant job experience in addition to a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • The ability to keep confidential any matters pertaining to the firm, including those involving employees and management.
  • understanding of how office equipment works, the basics of data collection, common office automation software, and purchasing practices.
  • The ability to set priorities, make plans, and arrange responsibilities calls for a degree of autonomy and direction.
