Qualifications:
- Helping guests swiftly, courteously, and professionally High service and hospitality, Resolve guest complaints and difficulties quickly and efficiently.
- Immediately provide them with a warm greeting that is both real and courteous. Employ a voice that is upbeat and easy to hear, actively listen to ensure you fully comprehend requests, reply with appropriate action, and give correct information, such as store hours and nearby points of interest.
- Assist with cleaning any section of the hotel that the manager instructs you to, such as the front desk, the staff break room, the guest laundry, the fitness room, the vending areas, the stairwells, and the public spaces.
- Information about a hotel, such as communications, reports, and files, must be kept private and safe at all times. Take care of all requests for reservations, both those coming in and those going out. Follow the General Manager’s instructions for lost and found items.
- Check the machine totals against the daily payments and expenditures, produce deposit slips, and keep the Guest Services Manager informed on the daily bank status. Changes required
- At check-out, close guest accounts and assess satisfaction. In case of discontent, study and try to fix issue within limits; may include involving a supervisor.
- Make a positive contribution to the accomplishments of a number of different departments, among which are Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, and Laundry, amongst others. It is imperative that the hotel’s toilets, lobby, and any other public facilities be kept spotless at all times.
- Excellence in people shows a passion for service, customer service, and teamwork. Product excellence – provide friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check in.
- In order to give great service to guests, you need to greet them with a smile and help them find information about themselves and things to do in the area. The guest experience is more important than finding new ways to make money.
- Complete your guests’ registration forms and verify for missing details. Update guest accounts with credit card and ID numbers and any updates.
Skills:
- able to stand and move around the front office while doing important work duties Capable of reading, listening, speaking, and writing in English.
- A high school diploma is required, or an equivalent qualification. A solid grasp of computers is a must, as is at least three years of hotel front desk experience.
- Maintain productive relationships with customers both within and outside the organization, which requires patience, tact, and diplomacy in order to defuse anger, get accurate information, and resolve difficulties.
- Capability to access and enter information correctly utilizing a relatively sophisticated computer system. Ability to notice and recognize signals of emergency situations via hearing and sight.
- Property management software expertise is needed for this post. Every shift report must be examined, and audits must be done as intended.
