Job Description
You’ll play a key role in guiding the Accounting department in its mission. There are several aspects of this role that involve developing and managing an Accounting team, increasing the Company’s accounting procedures and activities and offering important information that will help Forward Financing enhance its performance. The Director of FP&A, as well as the rest of the Leadership Team, will regularly collaborate with you on accounting projects, and your participation in moving our vision forward and helping expand the company will be important.

Qualifications:
- Reacted to Property Management’s requests at all levels, including the creation of particular reports, financial analysis and system identification.
- Makes sure that equipment works by setting up preventive maintenance needs and service contracts, keeping an inventory of equipment, and evaluating new equipment and methods.
- One of the duties of this department is to ensure that the company’s assets are properly managed via the implementation of effective accounting systems.

- Finance Department actions, such as the introduction of new software and systems and other departmental or enterprise-wide improvements, may be supported via study, planning, and implementation.
- Examines and analyzes budget and financial data, as well as creates and generates financial plan adjustments and suggestions. Communicate and distribute information/results to internal management and the parent firm.

- Oversee the process of filing tax returns and distributing quarterly tax payments, working closely with internal constituents as well as external tax advisors to guarantee proper and timely completion in accordance with regulations set out by local, state, and federal governments.
- Accountable for ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded and tracked in a systematic and accurate manner on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Performs research and analytical investigations, resulting in reports that contain profitability analysis, return on investment analyses, cost analyses, comparative financial statistics, and informational data to back up results and suggestions.
Skills:
- To apply for this position, you need to have a minimum of ten years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, along with an understanding of accounting principles and corporate taxation.
- Graduate of an accredited four-year college program with a major in accounting or experience that is comparable, Experience in accounting or a related field for a minimum of five years, with at least one year spent in a supervisory role.
- The job outcomes of the financial staff are supported by activities such as coaching, counseling, and penalizing personnel, as well as planning, monitoring, and reviewing work outputs.
- To be proactive, one must be able to address problems on their own without the constant monitoring of others. Always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities, while also being open to and responsive to critical criticism.
