Qualifications:

  • Welcome guests with a grin and a warm hello as soon as they enter the business. The consumer should be given accurate information about store hours and surrounding attractions in a friendly and understandable way.
  • Make a positive contribution to the accomplishments of a number of different departments, among which are Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, and Laundry, amongst others. It is imperative that the hotel’s toilets, lobby, and any other public facilities be kept spotless at all times.
  • You must clean the lobby, staff break room, guest laundry, exercise facility, vending areas, stairwells, and public places as directed by the management.
  • Close guest accounts at time of check out and establish satisfaction. Problems that aren’t being satisfactorily resolved should be investigated and, when possible, handed over to an upper-level manager.
  • Superior guest service requires a friendly smile and aid in obtaining guest and local information. The happiness of guests comes before exploring new revenue streams.
  • Helping guests swiftly, courteously, and professionally High service and hospitality, Resolve guest complaints and difficulties quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and lasting relationships are at the heart of a hotel’s People Excellence program. To show the quality of your products, treat customers with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Keep proprietary hotel information, communication reports, and files secret and secure. Manage all incoming and outgoing reservations. As authorized by the General Manager, take care of lost and found goods.
  • Fill out the registration forms for your guests and double verify that they have provided all of the necessary information in the appropriate spaces. Always make sure that the information in guest accounts is up to date, including credit card and identification numbers, as well as any modifications.
  • Balance daily payments and expenditures with machine totals, generate deposit slips, and brief the Guest Services Manager on daily bank status. Changes needed

Skills:

  • Ability to stand and walk about the front office to do job, Read, listen, and write well in English.
  • Ability to work well with both internal and external customers, some of whom will need a lot of patience, tact, and diplomacy to calm down, get correct information, and help solve problems.
  • A working knowledge of property management software is necessary for this position. It is essential that all shift reports be read and audits be performed according to plan.
  • To get and enter data quickly and accurately, you need strong computer abilities. Being able to see catastrophe warning signals early is crucial.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. A minimum of three years of front desk experience and proficiency with computers are required.
