Full-Time General Accountant – Ad-Dākhilīyah
Job Description
The Junior Accountant’s job include assisting senior accounting staff in a variety of general accounting tasks, such as developing and revising debt/interest and preferred return schedules in compliance with partnership and loan agreements. Cash receipts, journal entries, accounts payable vouchers and/or wires, and bank reconciliations are all tasks that the Junior Accountant will be responsible for. This is a supporting job that plays a critical part in the Corporate Accounting team’s daily administration and operations.

Qualifications:
- Prepares and maintains several intercompany schedules to ensure proper interest calculations and compliance with partnership agreements and/or management directives. Ensures that the necessary information is gathered and documented (e.g. terms and accounts).
- Contributes to the creation of tax packages for corporations and investment entities for submission to the tax department, including debt sections.
- In accordance with business rules, prepares and modifies depreciation schedules and journal entries (e.g. consistent application of accounts and depreciable lives).
- Examines existing and prospective laws, enforces compliance, and advises management on how to meet federal, state, and municipal financial legal duties.
- Junior accountants are expected to help with cash posting on a regular basis, which involves documenting electronic transfers and book transfers through daily cash receipts, and acquiring the necessary backing (e.g. distribution account, supporting emails)
- By keeping financial information secret, it fosters trust and safeguards operations.
- Examine contracts to ensure that revenue reporting follows both contract and technical revenue recognition guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of excellent customer connections.
- Assist with accounting issues as they arise and handle problems with a problem-solving mentality.
- Has good English communication abilities, both orally and in writing.
Skills:
- One year of experience in bookkeeping or a comparable accounting or finance position is required.
- Working well under pressure, managing several competing goals, and meeting deadlines are all essential in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting or finance is required for this position (equivalent experience considered)
- Has outstanding analytical abilities, is a natural mathematician, and pays close attention to detail. Has accounting software experience, such as Great Plains ERP systems.
- VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables are two advanced Microsoft Excel talents.
