Job Description
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work with a creative and dynamic team to provide top-notch design, such as print and digital material, event graphics, website design, UX design, and more. The ideal candidate will be proficient in verbal and written communication, as well as design, hierarchy, problem-solving, layout, and typography. Additionally, this person must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Qualifications:

- Keeps abreast of developments in the field, such as the latest marketing and design trends, by reading relevant professional magazines.
- collects data and supplies from the appropriate people so that tasks can be completed.
- help develop eye-catching promotional materials and encourage fresh approaches to showcasing our products and services to the public and our business partners.
- Delivers draft designs, timeframes, and budgets to the Senior Graphic Designer and Vice President of Marketing for review and approval.
- Facilitates teamwork and works well alone and with the Senior Graphic Designer, the VP of Marketing, and external agencies (when necessary).
- becomes familiar with the brand’s tenets, visual identity, and other identifying characteristics, as well as the policies of our partner companies.
- makes beautiful, easy-to-read PowerPoint presentations for our sales team within the constraints of existing templates.
- Develops a rough draft of the assignment’s visuals and text, taking into account the media’s specific needs for spacing, proportions, typeface, and other formal aspects. Make changes to visuals and text per feedback from key audiences.
Skills:
- Skills in teamwork and communication are essential.
- a user-centric approach that pays close attention to every last element of the interface design.
- capable of functioning effectively inside a print project workflow utilizing Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
- Microsoft PowerPoint, WordPress, Squarespace, and 3D (Blender or other) experience a plus.
