Job Description
Organization and management of all business office activities are handled by Scheduling Coordinators. Registration and check-out, scheduling capacity to execute clinical activities within their practice, and staff training/supervision of these functions may be included in this category. Alternatively, If the Practice Manager asks the Scheduling Coordinator to work on a specific project, the Scheduling Coordinator should be prepared to do so.

Qualifications:
- Convey to management any irregularities you see in the field personnel’ performance so that they may be addressed.
- Monitoring measures like as productivity, utilization and overtime may help managers make informed decisions about the resources they have available to them in the field.
- Assign field activities such as travel time, emergency labor, and equipment rentals to field personnel using a manual allocation mechanism.
- As appropriate, offer crucial spot-checks for other schedulers under the supervision of the Manager, Scheduling, and the advice of the Lead Scheduler.
- React appropriately to incoming phone calls and emails. Make outbound client and/or interpreter phone calls or send emails to follow up on assignments, resolve cancellations or questions, or reschedule services for customers.
- Oversee new recruits in the field, collaborating with operations and human resources to ensure future team members have enough visibility.
- Sending service providers and other resources throughout the office by email, text message, and other means of communication may be a very effective strategy.
- Handle alterations to the crew schedule in real time in response to resource changes or changing business conditions throughout the day.
- Identify and analyze essential pathways and restrictions in order to identify the impact of changes on the timetable and to provide recommendations for workarounds to offset the effects.
- Gains and makes readily accessible to the physician important information such as office, OR, and PAT records; labs, blood tests, and imaging; and new patient letters to mention just a few examples of the types of information that may be generated and made available to the physician.
