Job Description

The HR Specialist will be in charge of a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures, particularly Leave of Absence.

Qualifications:

  • Performs new employee onboarding, including data entry into the HR Information System and orientation. Ensures that data is entered correctly and that staff are well-versed in corporate regulations and procedures, including information from the employee handbook.
  • The North American head of recruitment will oversee recruiting and outreach for their regional locations. They’ll be in charge of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual recruiting targets as well as ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • In the Company’s HR information system, processes performance reviews, wage/salary transactions, and disciplinary actions in a timely and approved manner.
  • This person is professional and tactful, excelling at resolving issues for employees. They escalate concerns as needed but also provide insight about employee’s concerns to building management, regional human resources (HR) representatives, and corporate HR officials.
  • Frequently responds to employees’ queries about their employment status and enters, updates, additions, and removals into the Human Resources Information System as required. Reports any unexpected or unresolved concerns to the Human Resources Manager for further investigation.
  • Responsible for processing FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and municipal leave requests in the company’s timekeeping system.
  • Prepares monthly and special reports by analyzing trends and pinpointing problem areas with a small margin of error and a high priority level.
  • Having the capacity to communicate confidently with internal and external partners, clients/customers, and other stakeholders is critical when talking with them.
  • It also keeps track of personnel issues such as recruitment, promotions, transfers and other personnel and payroll issues.
  • Human resources (HR) rules and procedures are made clear to employees (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.).

Skills:

  • It is necessary to possess communication abilities.
  • HR principles, policies, processes, and basic employment legislation all necessitate a thorough grasp and familiarity with them.
  • The applicant must possess a strong sense of leadership as well as a strong desire to learn and enhance his skills.
  • Passionate problem solver who pays great attention to client indicators and attempts to handle issues in a polite and transparent way.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, labor relations, employment law, or a closely related field is required.
