Qualifications:
- Create branded and cost-effective packaging and products by collaborating closely with suppliers.
- Help the team prioritize the categories we select to enter by supporting ideation.
- Consider design aesthetics and product design language that supports the brand, while continuously delivering a positive user experience.
- works with internal and external manufacturing and technical teams to establish and evaluate product design requirements and production needs.
- To determine if a design is practical, consider its safety, attractiveness, and usefulness.
- Talking to professionals like mechanical engineers and manufacturers might help you figure out if your design ideas will actually meet people’s needs.
- Join the HP design community and work with other creatives to develop ground-breaking ideas that take advantage of modern materials and design trends in shapes and hues.
- Key stakeholders should be shown designs and prototypes for approval.
- Being a proactive leader in all safety program initiatives will help to support and sustain a healthy safety culture.
- Develop and iterate on product designs while exhibiting them to potential investors and buyers.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a successful designer with a strong portfolio of product design and execution of design to reality examples.
- Examples of innovation include novel product designs and methods for utilizing current technologies.
- Ability to discover complicated design difficulties such as a product’s need, size, form, function, and cost, foresee manufacturing issues, generate alternatives, evaluate possibilities, and implement solutions.
- Critical thinking skills: analyze markets to forecast the need for new products.
- You need some level of computer literacy to make good use of design and prototyping software.
