- Front desk support, including greeting clients and guests, answering phones with a smile, and using suitable language and taking detailed messages are all part of your remit.
- Respond to requests from the firm’s adviser to handle client files, create client forms and reports, and initiate correspondence.
- Processes purchases and sales of fixed income and equity securities via trading to accounting software.
- Respond to all messages sent to you via electronic means and address any concerns or complaints as quickly as feasible.
- Account opening and closing, adding powers of attorney and trading authority as necessary, linking life insurance and annuity accounts, finishing client registrations, and promptly responding to and completing client service requests are all examples of what you should do.
- Keep records on past and present customers up-to-date in your contact database and contact management software for use in future reports, appointments, fee tracking, and promotional efforts.
- You will play a crucial role on deal teams, helping to locate investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and writing investment memoranda for fund investments and co-investments.
- Properly dispose of client information; ensure proper management of any old and unneeded information on a regular basis by shredding.
- Oversee the upkeep of all common office equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working order for the practice, and report any problems to the facilities manager. Maintain office supplies, ensuring that needs such as break room products are always available.
- Create and compile reports and databases for maintaining files and record keeping, and establish and manage client files in order to satisfy regulatory and compliance needs.
- One to two years’ experience in finance or a closely related field (billing, accounting, purchasing, mathematics, etc.).
- demonstrated competence in client management or customer service. This would entail discovering difficulties or problems with clients, offering solutions, and starting those solutions.
- However, those with work experience and some college credit will be considered even if they lack a bachelor’s degree.
