Job Description

As an Operations Supervisor, you will help the Branch Manager in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the bank branch and personnel. You will utilize your expertise in branch operations to teach and guide workers and foster an atmosphere of operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Aside from frequent assessments and coaching, every department staff should get a thorough orientation, skills and safety training, necessary paperwork, and other supplies.
  • Inform workers and others on choices that influence teamwork, processes, resources, and other responsibilities. It is necessary to connect and communicate with the local Field Engineer on a daily basis.
  • Supervisory and training responsibilities for customer service, data entry, dispatch, and warehousing staff assigned to the corresponding shift. Ensure that all employees provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Conform with controls, regulations, and procedures, including the US Treasury Currency Operations Manual, the Federal Reserve System Custody Control Principles and Standards, and local operating procedures.
  • Oversee the department’s administrative tasks, including accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping, in accordance with the company’s internal regulations and state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee the timely and correct completion of all documentation involved with incoming and outgoing cargo movement. Maintain cost constraints while ensuring timely pick-ups, recoveries, deliveries, and airline and agency choices. Contribute to the formulation and approval of rate quotations or shipping pricing for internal and external clients.
  • Make every effort to participate in and direct department or bank-related tasks. The capacity to lead or participate in work groups or projects within the Federal Reserve System is an added advantage of this job function.
  • Preserve maximum confidentiality while ensuring effective, professional, and corporate norms and procedures are followed.
  • Working with a group that sets its own goals (s). As a boss, you are responsible for hiring and training your employees. It’s as if the team’s overall direction has been established. Organizes and leads team-building exercises. Makes decisions about employee compensation, employment, and termination.
  • Helps the department or division’s goals. From product and service design to corporate objectives, this person’s involvement is vital. A project manager ensures that everyone is on the same page in order to achieve the company’s goals.

Skills:

  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a related field is preferred, or a combination of work experience and education that is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree is also acceptable. At least four years of experience in the field. At least two years of experience as a supervisor or leader. Preferred is at least two years of experience in the field.
  • There must be a minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field (preferably in a cash handling environment). Applicants who already have prior banking expertise will be given priority. Experience serving in a supervisory capacity within an operations team or another functional area that is relevant is necessary for level II. In order to advance to Level III, you need to have at least five years of experience.) Experience that is significant includes things like completing work in collaboration with other individuals and displaying great leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability The capacity of a person to delegate work and/or responsibilities to others in order to maximize the productivity of the organization and the individual. Customer-oriented. Customers and their needs must always take first; the capacity to establish and maintain solid ties is crucial to success.
  • Microsoft Office, the internet, and job-specific software tools are all well-understood. To multiply and divide, you may use a variety of units, including US and international currency, weight, volume, and distance, amongst others.
  • One year of experience can be replaced by a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field, or by a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
