Job Description
We’re looking for a self-motivated, experienced, and career-minded Truck Driver to join our close-knit team delivering goods and services to a varied client base via a corporate delivery truck. This job is also in charge of warehouse tasks and managing client connections. We need someone who can operate a forklift and provide assistance as needed. It is required that you have a pleasant attitude and a desire to learn and grow alongside your coworkers and clients.

Qualifications:
- Completes and sends reports. Inspections are conducted both before and after the journey, with the goal of finding and reporting any issues or flaws to supervisors.
- The seal number should be checked with a store representative. After unloading, make sure to account for any missing items, mislabels, or returns.
- Schedule a regular departure time from the warehouse, along with a manifest that includes the driver’s name and the destinations for deliveries and/or pickups.
- Client transaction paperwork, as well as regulatory needs such as Hazmat preparation, vehicle inspection reports, load reports, and trip reports, are all handled using handheld computers. Drivers follow a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan.
- By being energetic, versatile, and optimistic in your encounters with colleagues and customers, you may contribute to a team approach and multitask effectively
- The best candidate always puts safety first and wears the right personal protection equipment, like a helmet or gloves.
- A truck driver must be able to operate outside in any weather conditions.
- When delivering items to clients, a high level of customer service is necessary.
- A truck driver’s day is divided into two parts: driving and other activities such as delivery, handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer engagement, and vehicle AM and PM inspections.
- Throughout the day, we’ll be loading and unloading things by hand and with heavy equipment, so you’ll need to regularly lift 75 pounds or more.
Skills:
- A valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required, as well as the ability to properly operate transportation equipment (e.g., tractor-trailer combinations).
- Passing any background checks and/or drug tests that may be required as part of the work.
- To grasp, provide, and receive instruction, you must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Two years of driving experience is necessary, or completion of a truck driver training school’s course.
- A valid BC driver’s license is required, as well as knowledge of DOT requirements.
