Job Description

We are looking for a Program Analyst with at least five years of experience. The Program Analyst will work directly with the Business Management Team, assisting them with business management and process optimization. You’ll provide management support for budget planning/reporting, acquisition activities, the formulation and recommendation of solutions to complex problems, the modification and improvement of processes (continuous improvement), and the facilitation of communication across the organization and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Provide how-to/Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for particular activities, processes, and procedures after conducting an investigation of present practices.
  • Maintain a careful watch on political changes, terrorist threats, security sector dynamics, human rights circumstances, and administrative management challenges that may influence the ability to execute counter terrorism assistance and/or capacity building programs.
  • A lot of expertise is required to adapt or come up with new methods of looking at detailed results and measuring progress.
  • In order to figure out how stable, safe, and dangerous the assigned country is, you’ll look at reports and briefings, as well as interviews and observations.
  • Procuring and analyzing complicated contract, project, or business data for the IT business management office, as well as providing daily customer help to this department.
  • The present management and program guidelines should be examined to see whether clarity is required.
  • Examine the structure of the organization, management practices and policies as well as administrative operations, processes and mechanisms, utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques.
  • Management and organizational strategies, processes, and procedures for carrying out a broad range of research and projects with a long-term effect, as well as budgeting methods and techniques for preparing assessments and estimations of resource requirements.
  • Be aware of legislative and policy developments that may have an influence on the government’s attitude and response to pertinent issues in the nation or region.
  • Make recommendations for necessary modifications to national programs that interact with the country in issue either directly or indirectly via third parties or multilateral organizations.

Skills:

  • having worked in a PMO or BMO for two years (e.g. financial management, schedule management, risk management, communications management)
  • The capacity to comprehend and appreciate the policy repercussions of a given issue, initiative, or development in a certain geographic or functional specialized area
  • Extensive knowledge of how to make plans for complex projects and programs that are important to the whole company. This includes goals, objectives, and milestones for projects and programs.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels among the foreign policy and intelligence communities at all levels is a must for this position.
