Job Description
The Lab Technician supports laboratory personnel in their tasks. Lab Technicians are doing an increasing number of responsibilities as time goes on. As part of quality assurance, lab technicians are in charge of monitoring processes and testing goods. They execute repetitive lab chores such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions under the supervision of scientists and other team members. In addition, they run tests, evaluate and analyze data, collect results, write reports, and present their findings.

Qualifications:
- Possible new tasks include chromatography column packing, cycle studies, stability studies, material production, and analytical aid (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE).
- High-complexity testing is only done under the guidance of a technologist or management. Follows up on critical, abnormal, and unsatisfactory test results.
- For batch changes, root cause investigations, or new product assessments, create product mixes and evaluate the results to aid Process and end product components should be tested using current analytical procedures.
- Analyzing and reporting on samples after they’ve been prepared, weighed, and ignited Help Regulatory Laboratories workers with lab setup, spiking, sample preparation, and analysis.
- In official or informal settings, makes suggestions on ways to enhance the assessment and presentation of results.
- It is essential to ensure timely product delivery via the lab work queue, extensive awareness of the Lab Scope, and complete familiarity with all key lab documentation and procedures
- Helps teach and orient new workers, students, and residents utilizing competence and workstation criteria. Monitors and maintains supplies for responsibilities; utilizes materials and reagents efficiently.
- Core lab tasks will include buffer preparation, equipment maintenance, general lab maintenance, inventory of common products, and cooperation with other technicians.
- Has the ability to work successfully with others as well as on their own. Maintains lab equipment and does other duties as assigned.

Skills:
- a high school diploma or a general education development (GED), At least twelve semester units in chemistry or bacteriology are recommended, but not required Experiential training in a laboratory during the last 12 months
- Hands and arms are used to move items, tools, and controls and to talk, hear, taste, and smell. Office employees stand, move, and sit. The employee must consistently lift 25 pounds.
- Read a restricted number of two- and three-syllable words and notice similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Capability to read and write basic phrases.
- a minimum of one to two years of experience that is directly relevant, most ideally in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, a four-year college or university degree with a major in chemistry or an area that is very closely connected to chemistry.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers. Perform these procedures using American money, weight, volume, and distance units.
