The Sales Clerk is responsible for completing client orders and delivering them in accordance with business safety, security, and productivity requirements. Qualifications:
- Make sure our staff, visitors, and merchandise are safe. Ensure that customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders are consistently wowed by the level of service you provide.

- Engages in dialogue with customers in order to help them make a purchase. Assists consumers in making product selections and recommends additional items to complete their purchases. - Whenever you interact with coworkers or visitors, be sure to express your enthusiasm and love for the food you serve, and use suitable suggestive marketing strategies to further your cause.

- Develops an understanding of the goods that has been picked, including how it should be installed, how it should be used, how it should be cared for, the features of different product price points, etc. Customers are provided with accurate and comprehensible product information that is communicated to them.
- Ensures that designated areas are completely supplied and product is nicely placed. The ability to effectively share information about new inventory arrivals, product discontinuation due to poor demand or low sales volume, and other issues with the store manager or supervisor is essential. The employee participates in departmental meetings and actively wants to discuss ideas on customer service, work performance, achieving store/department sales targets, etc.
- Follow necessary protocols to ensure the store meets out-of-stock percentage objectives. Use the appropriate shelf tag or order machine to order products.
Skills:
- Diploma or GED recommended. 16 years old, able to stand or bend for extended periods of time, and comfortable working with light weights on a regular basis (no more than 5 pounds a time)
- Customer service, restocking, and keeping the store looking nice all require standing for long periods of time. They have to stand, walk, and bend as part of their jobs. They have to squat and kneel as well. They have to be able to pull, push, and lift things.
- A fundamental understanding of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office are must, along with at least two to three years of effective retail sales experience with great customer service.
- Required skills include the capacity to lead and learn from others, as well as teach and learn from others.
- Ability to interact with clients and manage money at a retail or fast food establishment for at least a year I’m no stranger to the world of finance.
