Full-Time Multimedia Designer – Lantawan
The Office of Research Communications’ visual direction will be managed by the multimedia designer, who will also supervise and carry out the office’s requirements for digital, graphic, print, photography, and motion graphics. This person will be in charge of designing, planning, creating, editing, delivering, and managing multimedia projects. They will interact with vendors and supervise their work, and they will manage large-scale initiatives involving partners from all across the university. This person must be able to consistently generate or execute neat, polished, professional designs and layouts that support the university’s research achievements, collaborations, and the impact that results on people, our country, and our globe, while adhering to the brand and identity.

- Prepare print files in collaboration with the sales and production teams for daily orders of bespoke graphics; maintain a high production rate while upholding accuracy, quality standards, and meeting/exceeding deadlines for production.
- Logos, banners, social media campaigns, advertisement campaigns, brand systems, edited short and long form movies, illustrations, and animated visuals / graphics are just some examples of the kinds of multi-media design projects you might create.
- Learn the relevant information for the project, participate actively, and ask questions as you go.
- Keep stakeholders up-to-date on the project’s progress and ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and meets the organization’s requirements.
- Manage the entire process of developing promotional materials.
- Create and experiment with new ways of conveying ideas that improve precision, ease of template use, or clarity of communication without sacrificing style.
- Develop and enhance the final design solutions using your own discretion and outside feedback.
- Use 3D modeling software like KeyShot to populate virtual spaces with products and animate them.
- Construct preliminary plans, sketches, models, and prototypes utilizing a range of methods.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create high-quality marketing collateral that reflects the KwikBoost brand, including sell sheets, flyers, advertisements and banner ads, packaging, product instruction sheets, presentations, email and social media campaigns, website product pages, landing pages, and trade show materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, often under pressure of a short deadline, and a solid grasp of project management principles are must-haves.
- Capable of producing visually appealing designs; experience with photography and/or videography is a bonus.
- competency in working well with others in a business office setting.
- Must be up-to-date with Adobe’s design suite (Premiere/After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator, and Creative Cloud).
- High-level interpersonal and business communication abilities are required to collaborate successfully with staff members who have varying levels of technical ability.
