Qualifications:
- Assist with Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, Laundry, etc. Keep hotel restrooms, lobby, and other public spaces clean.
- Superior guest service requires a friendly smile and aid in obtaining guest and local information. The happiness of guests comes before exploring new revenue streams.
- Maintain the privacy and security of hotel information, communications, reports, and files. Manage all incoming and outgoing booking requests Care for lost and found things according the General Manager’s instructions.
- Check guest happiness at checkout. In case of discontent, study and try to fix issue within limits; may include involving a supervisor.
- Assist with cleaning any section of the hotel that the manager instructs you to, such as the front desk, the staff break room, the guest laundry, the fitness room, the vending areas, the stairwells, and the public spaces.
- A hotel’s commitment to providing excellent customer service and fostering a sense of camaraderie may be measured by its level of “people excellence.” Exhibit superior quality in the products you sell to your customers by treating them with respect and providing prompt and accurate service when they arrive.
- Assisting guests in a timely, polite, and competent manner at all times, Keep up a high standard of customer service and warm hospitality, Deal with questions or problems raised by guests in a prompt and efficient way, and ensure that their needs are satisfied as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that arriving visitors’ information, registration cards, and payment methods are correct. Accept credit guests, picture IDs, and guest change.
- Guests should be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Customers should be told the truth about business hours and nearby attractions in a friendly and open way.
- Provide the Guest Services Manager with the sums generated by each machine for each transaction, and then reconcile the day’s transactions with the sums generated by each machine. There is a need for adaptation.
Skills:
- Maintain productive relationships with customers both within and outside the organization, which requires patience, tact, and diplomacy in order to defuse anger, get accurate information, and resolve difficulties.
- Relatively advanced computer skills required to obtain and input data in a timely and accurate manner. Being able to hear and notice the early warning signs of an oncoming disaster is critical.
