Job Description
As an Operations Supervisor, you will help the Branch Manager in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the bank branch and personnel. You will utilize your expertise in branch operations to teach and guide workers and foster an atmosphere of operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- Customer service and data entry positions should be staffed and trained by businesses. Provide excellent customer service to both your internal and external customers.
- Workers and others must be informed of any obstacles to cooperation, processes, resources, or other obligations. Keep in touch with the local Field Engineer.
- Assist in the effective, professional, and compliant operation of the area in line with business rules and procedures.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all shipping-related documents. Reduce expenses while assuring on-time pickups and recoveries. Input rate quotes or freight prices for both internal and external customers.
- Engage in department or bank leadership roles. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System projects.
- Orientation, skills and safety training, suitable materials and information, frequent assessments, and proactive coaching for all department personnel.
- Administer the department’s administrative functions, including accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping, in accordance with the company’s internal regulations and state and federal requirements.
- Ascertain adherence to the US Treasury Currency Operations Manual and the Federal Reserve System Custody Control Principles.
- Working with a self-motivated group (s). Employees are chosen and mentored by the management. As a consequence, the general direction of the team is evident. Conducts team member training sessions. Makes decisions on employee wages, employment, and firing.
- Supports the department’s or division’s objectives. This person’s input affects a wide range of things, from products and service techniques to business goals. A project manager is in charge of making sure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to achieving the company’s goals and objectives.
Skills:
- Abilities Expertise to an advanced level in Microsoft Office, internet, and web-based software programs, as well as job-specific software. Able to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with US and/or foreign cash, as well as units of measurement for weight, volume, and distance.
- Shown that they can lead. Ability to give work and/or responsibilities to other people so that both the organization and the individual can do their best work. Customers come first. Ability to put customers and their needs first, as well as to build and keep good relationships.
- It is necessary to have at least two years of relevant experience (preferably in a cash handling environment). Preference will be given to candidates with banking expertise. Level II requires supervisory experience in an operational team or a comparable functional area. At least five years of experience are required for Level III. Examples of relevant experience include collaborating with others to achieve tasks and displaying excellent leadership.
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education. Experience in a comparable field. 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is required. Industry experience is preferred.
- In place of one year of experience, you can have a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy or Health Sciences.
