Qualifications:

  • Get ready for the arrival of your guests by completing the registration forms that they will need to bring with them and ensuring that they have all of the pertinent information on hand. Keep track of guest accounts, including credit card and picture ID information, and offer any required update.
  • A friendly smile and aid in gathering information about the guest and local attractions are necessary components of offering great service to guests. Priority is given to the happiness of guests above the investigation of possible new sources of revenue.
  • Information about a hotel, such as communications, reports, and files, must be kept private and safe at all times. Take care of all requests for reservations, both those coming in and those going out. Follow the General Manager’s instructions for lost and found items.
  • Greet them right away with a polite and genuine greeting. Use a happy and clear speaking voice, listen to comprehend requests, reply appropriately, and give correct information such as store hours and nearby attractions.
  • People excellence shows a passion for customer service and teamwork. Product excellence – give friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check-in.
  • Produce deposit slips, provide the Guest Services Manager with a report on the day’s financial position, and reconcile the day’s payments and expenditures with the amounts that are shown on the machines. The need for adjustments
  • We can gauge their satisfaction once they’ve checked out. If you can’t fix a problem within the company’s rules and regulations, contact a supervisor.
  • Responsible for keeping the hotel clean as a whole. This includes helping the manager clean any areas of the hotel that need it, such as the front desk, employee break room, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Service that is quick, friendly, and done in a professional way for all guests, Maintain a high level of service and friendliness. Deal with guest problems and complaints as quickly as possible and as satisfactorily as needed.
  • Contribute to the success of several other departments, including Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, and Laundry, amongst others. Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s restrooms, lobby, and any other public areas.

Skills:

  • Ability to run property management system technology is required. Work through all shift reports and conduct the audit function as needed and assigned.
  • Ability to use a relatively sophisticated computer system correctly. Hearing and seeing emergency signals.
  • Able to stand and walk about the front office and perform vital professional duties. Able to read, listen, and speak and write in English.
  • It is essential to have a high school diploma or its equivalent. A solid grasp of computers is necessary, as is three years of experience working at a hotel front desk.
  • Effectively interact with internal and external clients who require patience, tact, and diplomacy to moderate anger, obtain info, and solve problems.
