Qualifications:
- As a key player on deal teams, you’ll be responsible for identifying viable investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence, and producing investment memoranda for fund investments and co-investments.
- Create and compile reports and databases for maintaining files and record keeping, and create and manage client files to satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements.
- utilizes trading to handle transactions involving equity and fixed-income securities.
- Opening and closing of accounts, granting of powers of attorney and trading authority, linking of life insurance and annuity accounts, completion of client registrations, and proactive response to and follow-up on client service inquiries are all in the scope of this role.
- As quickly as possible, read through all incoming and outgoing electronic mail, answer to any questions or concerns, and follow up on any action items.
- the maintenance of client records, the development of forms and reports for clients, and the commencement of correspondence as directed by the firm’s advisor.
- Make sure to properly dispose of client information and handle all unwanted and old information by regularly shredding it.
- Check the working order of all shared office equipment and notify the facilities manager if something seems amiss. Keep the office well-stocked with goods like paper towels and toilet paper.
- Maintain current client information in the contact management system and contact database for reporting, scheduling, fee tracking, and marketing.
- Responsible for providing front desk service, such as cordially greeting clients and visitors to the office, answering the phone, and addressing or taking specific messages as needed to ensure that all client needs are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
Skills:
- Experience in finance or a similar discipline, such as billing, accounting, purchasing, mathematics, etc., is required.
- Although a bachelor’s degree is preferred, candidates with relevant job experience and college credit can still be considered.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently despite tight deadlines and a high volume of competing demands.
- Competence with Redtail, Orion, Morningstar, MoneyGuidePro, and Wells Fargo Advisors is desired.
