Qualifications:
- Monitor analytics with the rest of the team to identify viable ideas, trends, and growth patterns.
- Take part in brainstorming sessions to exchange ideas, establish a plan of action, and help bring them to life.
- Build and maintain connections with regional and national media outlets by working with the marketing coordinator.
- assemble data, create, compose, and disseminate authorized press releases and newsletters.
- Contribute to the content calendar by posting to social media once a week and once a month.
- contribute to media follow-up in order to ensure client placement and monitor development.
- Help with media relations by doing things like making pitches, doing research, and setting up interviews.
- Collaborate closely with the cameraperson to gather footage and stills.
- assistance with writing advertising text for divisional companies for the marketing coordinator.
- Provide public relations support by writing press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, and appeal letters as needed.
Skills:
- Creative and multidimensional human that loves to tell a good story through photos, videos, and words.
- Acquiring a foundational understanding of marketing principles and how to implement those principles across many mediums.
- High school graduation, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent experience and education levels are required.
- competent user of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Competent in relevant social channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and others.
