Job Description

It will be the Asset Manager’s job to make sure that all of the projects that are being worked on are running smoothly. He or she will report directly to the Principal of Development. The Asset Manager is in charge of things like leasing, marketing, hiring, new projects, and how the property works as a whole. At the same time, we are looking for someone who is very motivated and excited about solving problems. This person should also be very detailed-oriented and be able to work on a lot of different projects at the same time. It is also important to have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • To increase productivity and return on investment, look at methods to make the most of underutilized technology assets.
  • Promoting the strategic and practical implementation of infrastructure asset management principles and best practices across the Public Works Department, including training to optimize the usage and functioning of asset management software.
  • Keeping a close eye on all loans, especially those that are pre-payable, balloon, or come due.
  • From the moment of requisition until the time of disposal, develop and implement techniques and processes for monitoring and assessing technical and financial data on company hardware.
  • Oversee the company’s current tenant relationships in order to guarantee that great service is provided. When negotiating leases for high-profile tenants, having a strong network of leasing agents, attorneys, and bankers on your side may be quite useful..
  • Making and disseminating information to the general public and county staff. Many boards, committees, and organizations dealing with infrastructure asset management might include a representation from the county.
  • Ensure that asset data, such as serial numbers or identification tags, are accurate, full, and auditable in a configuration management database (CMDB).
  • Make cash flow estimates, assess them, and make recommendations to investors on capital calls and dividends. Maintain escrow and operational cash accounts to ensure correct funding.
  • It is important to account for all aspects of an asset’s life cycle when modeling it, from acquisition through eventual disposal. In charge of budgeting, planning, and forecasting for the whole year.
  • Develop and execute daily operational, market position and disposal plans for each asset using strategic business concepts.


  • One (1) year supervisory or team lead experience managing infrastructure assets in a government agency, or any comparable combination of education and training that provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the job.
  • capacity to work well as part of a team and to coordinate efforts with colleagues, vendors, and others from other departments.
  • Work experience in contract management or buying and procurement, including strategy creation and implementation.
  • Reading, writing, and speaking in English must be at a level that enables you to safely and successfully perform your job obligations in English.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Able to use MS Office and the internet (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
