Job Description
As a member of the Risk team, you’ll be expected to do work at the quantitative analyst level. Work will entail learning the system and becoming an experienced user, as well as completing risk metrics and valuations for an energy asset portfolio, as well as mathematical computations such as calculating volatility and CVAR, and developing asset and position risk reporting measures. Work will also entail analyzing and understanding new markets and prospects from both a risk and commercial standpoint.

Qualifications:
- Learn all you can about a company’s risks by completing risk assessment studies such as information collecting and coverage placement, loss predictions and analysis, among other activities.
- Acquainting yourself with the many aspects of fixed income investments and how they are traded and the regulatory environment.
- Formulate strategies that can be used across a variety of portfolios, in addition to specific methods of risk analysis and reduction.
- Through collaborative efforts with the investment and business development teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new products and investment solutions for clients.
- Preparing and distributing information to county staff and the general public. Representation on numerous boards, committees and groups dealing with infrastructure asset management is possible.
- Make on-the-fly risk evaluations of new wire counter-parties, and perform negative news searches and background checks on potential new or present clients.
- On a regular basis, monitors and maintains a list of initial coin offering (ICO) clients; examines and analyzes the client list for compliance with regulatory guidance criteria and, as a consequence, modifies risk tolerance as necessary.
- Assess potential digital asset customers thoroughly in response to requests for reports on individual clients.
- With the help of other members of the team, you may be involved in projects that need you to obtain data from the Mortgage Industry and aid in projects that are handled by others.
- Using Factiva, Lexis Nexis or any other open source intelligence material that is obtained and collated to develop an evaluation to perform background checks

- An accounting/auditing background is preferred, as is 1-3 years of experience in internal controls, consulting, advising, professional services, or the advertising business.. Financial analytical capabilities and high critical thinking abilities.
