The manager provides advice and supervision to the Field Supervisor. As a general rule, he or she does not really carry out the task that is being monitored. Supervise line crews assigned to work on all overhead or subterranean transmission and distribution line facilities in a safe, productive, and quality-oriented manner, with an eye on safety. Provides consumers with prompt, cost-effective, and dependable service.

Qualifications:

- Cooperates constructively with other agencies, coworkers, supervisors and other staff members as well as local government agencies to ensure that services are provided to all parties in a timely and quality manner.
- In charge of directing campaign implementation and ensuring that the relevant criteria are satisfied in the assigned service areas. This includes contract campaigns, member education drives, mobilization initiatives, leadership recruitment, and political action.
- Separates information or data obtained or gathered by verbal, written, or electronic communication in order to assess the consequences and determine the best solution and resolve challenges.
- Clients are provided with cognitive/behavioral therapies in order to remove or modify maladaptive habits that may interfere with work.
- Makes recommendations on the most suitable educational and/or vocational support services to be provided to clients in order to close the achievement gap.
- In order to discover and handle complicated drilling challenges, data recording and evaluation must be performed on a regular basis.
- Union members, labor partners, and state agencies may bring concerns to the attention of the Union Grievance Committee, which investigates and resolves them.
- Grief processing and presentation, staffing local and statewide union management communication committee meetings, and serving as the principal negotiator in master agreement talks are just some of the duties of a chosen representative.
- Workers’ engagement in workplace organizing and the establishment of a membership structure ensures that the Council’s objectives are accomplished.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively listen and interact with customers/clients in order to perform out obligations or reply to frequent inquiries from customers/clients, regulatory authorities, members of the business community, and the general public.
- Knowledge in cabinet installation and service, order input and delivery scheduling, and subcontractor management are all highly needed skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to successfully manage people by developing excellent working relationships with workers, adjusting leadership style to a range of employees, recognizing developmental needs, and providing coaching and mentoring.
- It is necessary to have a working knowledge of both abstract and tangible variables, as well as the ability to read complicated technical instructions delivered in a mathematical or diagrammatic fashion.
- For the management and disposal of any hazardous waste products generated by SCE or contractor facilities, experience in transformer and other oil-filled/gas-filled electrical equipment procedures.
