Our industrial designer’s main responsibility is to create ideas for finished goods by fusing engineering, business, and art to create items and solutions that people use every day. The product’s purpose, appearance, production costs, and usage must all be taken into account, and brand strategies must be adhered to.

Qualifications:
- Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements with insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups.
- You should evaluate a design’s viability by thinking about whether or not it ensures product safety, meets aesthetic standards, and fulfills its intended purpose.
- Work with other experts to assess whether design suggestions will meet needs, such as mechanical engineers and manufacturers.
- Encourage and maintain an effective safety climate via active leadership in all safety-related endeavors.
- Help generate ideas and guide the group’s prioritization of competition categories.
- Present concepts and prototypes for approval to relevant stakeholders.
- Design products, iterate them, and show your work to multiple decision-makers.
- Engage with the HP design community to collaborate on leading edge concepts using the latest materials, trends in forms and colors.
- Create branded and cost-effective packaging and products by collaborating closely with suppliers.
- Think about the brand’s visual identity and the language used in product design to ensure that users are always satisfied.

- Possessing a wide range of product design and design-to-reality examples in one’s portfolio is indicative of a designer with solid experience in the field.
- Their originality shines through in the form of novel features and the clever repurposing of current technologies.
- Analytical abilities: Examine consumers and identify the demand for new items by using logic or reasoning.
- Ability to recognize complicated design challenges, such as those related to a product’s necessity, size, form, function, and cost; to foresee production problems; to generate alternatives; to consider possibilities; and to put answers into practice.
- Able to use CAD programs to create designs and prototypes.
