The ideal candidate will be able to do both predictive and prescriptive analysis of markets, emerging technology and trends, competitive intelligence, and provide proactive insights and recommendations on how to grow the business and improve its operations. People in this job will analyze data on their own to improve business results and support growth strategy initiatives. They will then present their findings to executives and top management. Qualifications:

  • Analyze data to discover new information about markets and customers, as well as about the competitors, with the help of data mining tools and processes.
  • Data collection, storage, and display in the workplace are all governed by business policy. Create visual aids like as maps and charts to aid in the explanation of market research results.
  • Visually communicate results to executives using charts, graphs, and other visual aids to assist them in making better-informed choices on strategies, business model changes, and new products and markets.
  • In order to feed processes, reports, and other analytical tools with relevant data, it is necessary to extract data from a broad variety of sources. Perform online and subscription-based research in the corporate market.
  • Provide management with information regarding emerging trends and areas of possible improvement via the creation and maintenance of reports (data analysis and narrative). Create reports and make suggestions based on the information you gather.
  • All possible affects on sales, including pricing, marketing strategies, sales and client preferences are investigated and examined. If these aspects have an impact on sales in the future, they investigate it as well!
  • Communicates difficult facts in an easy-to-understand manner and persuades others to act based on the helpful knowledge presented.
  • Design and execute initiatives to reach specified objectives, find process improvements, and enhance the customer experience with the help of the company’s business divisions.
  • With the Market Research team, help internal clients achieve their research goals by developing research objectives, methodology, and survey questions.
  • Create periodic reports, such as weekly, quarterly and yearly summaries of data. Establish baselines and monitor trends over time to help in decision-making.

Skills:

  • The capacity to perceive and describe issues on a proactive basis, comprehend business and system processes, gather data, establish facts, and make accurate conclusions must be shown.
  • Very analytical in nature. Ability to deal with data from a range of platforms and from a variety of different sources is required. The ability to comfortably delve into the nuances of the data.
  • Being able to work with formulas, connect spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables, graph data and format it are all critical skills in Excel. Microsoft Office is a good choice..
  • A demonstrated track record (3-5 years) working with a broad variety of reporting systems, including Tableau, that has resulted in measurable benefits in the areas of data integration, visualization, and analysis to aid in the optimization of revenues
  • Having a good understanding of complex statistical software like SPSS or SAS is also important for this job.
