Job Description
The Tax Associate assists the Director of Tax and the Tax Senior Manager with tax accounting tasks. The Tax Associate is in charge of tax compliance and tax accounting support schedules, mainly in relation to the calculation of income and associated taxes. It is expected that the Tax Associate works closely with the Accounting and Finance Department on a variety of initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Learning how to compile and record financial statements from bank accounts and other sources, as well as how to prepare personal balance sheets and net worth statements.

- Prepare or help with the preparation of tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments, as well as other tax compliance, including, but not limited to, monitoring of all compliance and filing status.
- Operates in complete accordance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering obligations.

The ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and to design and comprehend bar graphs.
- Ability to use a telephone, a personal computer, a printer, a copy machine, and a fax machine. Possess working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Advanced computer skills are desirable.
