The Marketing Analyst provides analytical support to the Marketing Department. Candidates for this position will specialize in a few Direct Marketing channels, which include everything from direct mail, phone calls, and leads to digital marketing channels like social media, SEM, and SEO. Candidates are expected to have knowledge with marketing experience as well as analytical software skills, depending on their level of experience. This person will design, develop, and manage reports, as well as conduct data analysis and deliver actionable insights to help the company improve.

Qualifications:
- Analyze research/analysis data and turn results into clear and actionable business insights for media, communication, and creative teams, as well as department leadership, to inform overall marketing strategy and budgets, creative execution, and media mix.
- On a daily basis, monitor and maintain assigned media, which could include SEO, SEM, direct mail, television, SMS, email, and more.
- Take primary and secondary research to assist Category Marketers in developing a clear, effective selling story in a visually appealing digital style.
- Control the technical aspects of important marketing tools (marketing automation, CRM) used to produce, distribute, and report on leads.
- Intelligence powers the testing and optimization roadmap, which generates and analyzes hypotheses to enhance the digital experience and site performance.
- Develops solutions to drive consumer awareness, engagement, happiness, retention, and other business objectives by collaborating with business teams to discover the most important business issues to be addressed in the data.
- Creates, delivers, and maintains simple dashboards that empower marketers and other business teams with digital data.
- These tools allow for sophisticated marketing analysis and data visualization using market research data from databases like Innova (a plus)
- The Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets, is required knowledge.
- The launch of new items is scrutinized, appraised, and reported on, as are the successful, odd, and failed products. Analyze data, statistics, and consumer trends on a local level, then put up a presentation style for marketing or sales to utilize directly.
Skills:
- Paid search (Google Advertising, Bing), PLA (Google Shopping), retargeting, social advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and Amazon Advertising or other self-serve retail marketplace ad platforms.
- When it comes to issue solving, the candidate must be able to deconstruct a problem into an organized approach, structure, analyze, and offer recommended solutions.
- Technically knowledgeable, a good communicator, and a desire to enhance operations and boost revenue by connecting with customers online.
- +3 years of experience developing and measuring content and inquiry/conversion marketing performance using data
- GMI systems are preferred (Eclips, BEX, K2, Nielsen, SharePoint)
