Job Description

Our company is in need of a Tax Associate. This position will help in the preparation of the company’s tax returns and give assistance during audits of the company’s taxes. Directly participate in the company’s day-to-day tax and accounting functions. I’m in charge of all parts of customer service relating to our clients and their accounts.

Qualifications:

  • This position’s responsibilities include doing research and analyzing tax difficulties, drafting memorandums and client letters, and expressing viewpoints and offering solutions on a broad variety of tax concerns.
  • Following all applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements, as well as the company’s own internal procedures and processes.
  • Prepare or help with the preparation of tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments, as well as other tax compliance, including, but not limited to, monitoring of all compliance and filing status.
  • report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulations, even if it’s only suspected or confirmed, to management. This includes fraud, even if it is only suspected.
  • Accounts and activity are reviewed, and reconciliations of income tax balances (i.e., income tax due and deferred tax assets and liabilities) and Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”) general ledger accounts, including international withholding and franchise/gross receipts taxes, are prepared.
  • Expatriate and foreign national assignee tax returns, equalization calculations, and other miscellaneous tax forms are prepared for expatriate, foreign national, and other mobile and remote assignee. Prepare payroll calculations and international assignment cost projections for assignee.
  • Develop your administrative, professional, and interpersonal skills if you want to properly manage your time and effectively engage with people at work and in your personal life alike.

Skills:

  • A well-organized and adaptive professional who has showed the ability to handle many projects and procedures efficiently while achieving internal and external deadlines.
  • Being a certified public accountant and having a bachelor’s degree in accounting are required for this employment. 3-6 years of tax experience at a large CPA firm or in the corporate tax department of a publicly traded business are essential, as well as the ability to work well with others.
  • Telephone, computer, printer and copy machine all included in a single device. A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs as well as a database management system. The ability to work with computers is beneficial.
  • Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals to read and understand. Having a good command of writing regular reports and letters It’s important to be able to answer questions from both employees and the public in a clear way. A lot of communication skills are needed. Multiplication and division of whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in all units of measure. Make and read bar graphs.
