Full-Time Team Truck Driver – Bokod
Job Description

Qualifications:
- An average truck driver spends the most of his or her day driving, but he or she also does other duties, such as delivering goods and completing documentation for shipments.
- Schedule a regular time for the driver to leave the warehouse, along with a manifest that lists the driver’s name and the places where deliveries and pick-ups are to be made.
- The ideal candidate will always put safety first and use the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Among the many tasks performed on mobile computers are customer transaction paperwork and regulatory needs like Hazmat preparation, inspection reports for vehicles, load logs, and trip reports, to name a few. Truck drivers follow a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan.
- A truck driver must be able to operate outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to contribute to a team approach by being dynamic, flexible, and pleasant in your dealings with coworkers and customers – multitasking skills
- Having a daily lifting capacity of 75 pounds is required, since we will be doing a lot of hard lifting and moving big machinery.
- The Truck Driver must provide excellent customer service when delivering things to customers.
- Reports on what he has done and what he hasn’t done. Before and after the voyage, inspections are performed to identify and communicate any problems or deficiencies to supervisors.
- Verify the seal number with a store representative and account for any shortages, mislabeling, or returns after unloading.
Skills:
- Have completed a truck driver training school’s course or have at least two years of driving experience.
- Any background checks and/or drug tests that may be necessary as part of the job must be passed.
- It is necessary to have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) and the ability to operate transportation equipment safely (such as tractor-trailer combinations).
- The DOT regulations must be known, as well as the BC driving rules.
- You must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently to understand, offer, and receive guidance.
